The Defense Sector, Decision Advantage Business Area Leidos is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team.  If you have a passion for cyber and engineering and a desire to support critical Air Force systems, this is the perfect role for you.  We are hiring an ISSE to work on our team and provide cybersecurity expertise on Air Force cyber policies, requirements and controls.  As the prime contractor, Leidos will drive performance optimizion in achieving mission outcomes through efficient design, build, fielding and transition-to-operions.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will provide ISSE support to the program and a secure communicions and da transfer network th consists of a series of unclassified networks th are being designed, built, and installed. You will also be responsible for providing cyber expertise for updes and tech refreshes during the development phase th require engineering and security architecture design, integrion and install, test, and deploy to operions. You will be ensuring cybersecurity is applied to our secure communicions operional da transfer between various sites with security adeque to protect informion; designing, installing, administering, and maintaining secure communicions capabilities between existing sites; and, providing Operions and Maintenance (O&M) documention and training. This position 85% remote but will require travel to the customer site on Warner Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robin GA. Ideal candide will be local to the Warner Robins area.

Basic Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
• Any one of the following DoD Manual 8140.03 certificions: Security+, CASP, CISSP
• Design and implement technical security controls, identify and remedie vulnerabilities, and advice to Informion System Security Managers (ISSMs), and Program Managers.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise and knowledge to implement the System Security Plan.
• Cree the Security Assessment Report.
• Cree Plan of Action and Milestones
• Implement Plans of Actions and Milestones
• Ensure required vulnerability scans meet the standards required to obtain and maintain an ATO from the Authorizing Official. 
• A strong working knowledge of RMF.
• Experience in applying security principles to all stes of system development from requirements development through operional acceptance.
• Experience in conducting informion systems security assessments, evaluing IA and Cybersecurity controls, and conducting and supporting RMF activities.
• Experience with Operional Air Force or Space Force systems.
• Experience with ACAS, Xacta and / or  eMASS.
• Experience and/or certificions associed with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 
• Experience in current authorizion practices, particularly within the DoD
• Experience in accredition of Windows, Linux, Cisco, SQL or Oracle dabases, virtualized systems, Red H Enterprise License (RHEL) Linux 7, ACAS, Tenable systems.
• Must be a US Citizen and actively possess a Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Preferred Quals:

• Knowledge of ATOs and required security controls for DoD networks
• Previous experience working with cyber teams to gain ATOs
• Experience with AF Special programs
• Experience with DoD systems
