I have a sweet 1 yr old intact Pyrenees female, her name is Gabby and she has been successfully guarding my chickens but she has also stripped the fruit from my lower limbs of my fruit trees and eats every egg she can find. She is bored and would be much happier being able to run more acreage. I purchased her from a farm where her and her family unit guarded all sorts of livestock and poultry.
