compensation: Earn up to $90 for study assessments and receive a $10 weekly stipend
Volunteers with type 2 diabetes who have difficulty accessing food are invited to participate in a remote Northwestern research study! The study is recruiting people who struggle with binge eating to participate in testing a mobile web app called FoodSteps.

To be eligible for this study, you must be:
• An adult (18 years or older)
• Experience binge eating, food insecurity, and have type 2 diabetes
• Interested in reducing binge eating
• Have a smartphone and be willing to use a mobile app with coaching
• Have an email address
• Not pregnant
• English speaking
• Live in the US

What will you do?
1. Complete an online screening survey
2. Complete an initial assessment
3. If eligible, get access to the app with coaching for 16 weeks
4. Also get an electronic scale and a $10 weekly stipend
5. Do assessments during and after the intervention
6. Receive up to $90 for doing the research assessments
